PROJECT OVERVIEW
Currently, the site is neglected. Cars are abandoned there. Bags of trash dropped off in the middle of the night and stolen luggage discarded among the weeds. In its current condition it is impossible for the four neighbors who live on the street to keep up with the debris and detritus that finds its way to the site. We estimate the OAG project will cost about $495K to complete.

Design Phase
We are currently in the Schematic Design Phase. A topographic survey and a rough grading plan with pathway configuration has been completed. We have solicited design feedback from neighbors and the parents who use Ana’s Day Care. And we are currently waiting for proposal from three landscape architects.
During this phase we will fundraise through grant writing and by launching a donor drive. We are also still gathering design ideas for the play structures, the flowers, and other design elements, such as mosaics, murals and more.
Build Phase
This phase will start when our plans get approval from the city. We hope to start construction in early 2025. Once the Ogden Avenue Gardens become a reality, we will celebrate with community party.
Maintenance
This phase will be developed in the future.
